My name is Darcy Collins and I am the fifth child of
Graham John Collins and Joelle Collins (nee Koury). I was born at the Mercy
Maternity Hospital on October, 17th, 1988. My sister Carly
and my brothers Brenton,
Tyson
and Wade
are all living at home and our father Graham is lovingly taking care of us.
We also have a dog called Whoopi. She is a cute Britney Spaniel/Pointer.
I went to St.Judes Primary School in Scoresby. It was a fairly local school
and I learnt a lot with my time at the school. It was great preparation for
High School which was exciting for me. The transaction from Primary School
to High School was quite dramatic and nerve racking. I am currently a
student at Aquinas College in Ringwood and I am learning rapidly. I enjoy
picking my own subjects and having a wide range of choice.

In 2003, I decided to search for a part-time job as it
was important to start saving up my money for the future. My sister, Carly and
my brother, Wade both worked at Target at the time so I thought it might be
an easy and quick way to get a job. Carly got me an interview with one of
the managers and after showing them my resume they employed me straight
away. I work in a group called the "Fill Team" which fill the
shelves. I work in the Hardgoods section (Toys, Kitchenware, Electricals,
Manchester, Stationery,
Confectionery etc) and I am enjoying it at the moment. At times I find it
boring but it is earning me money so I am still working there.
Some of my hobbies are playing sport, watching the
footy, accessing the internet, listening to music, reading the paper and
playing pool. I enjoy challenging my brothers to a game of pool, especially
my eldest brother, Brenton (best player in the house).
At the moment I am still deciding what I want to do in
the future. I take high interest in Information Technology, Mathematics,
Management and Sport. I would love to become a Sports Manager, Sports
Administrator or Sport Coach but I am leaving my options wide open.

My favourite things in life are football, going out with
friends and spending some valuable time with my family. Football has always
been my passion. I love playing the game, watching the game and even reading
about it.
I haven’t done much travel at all so far in my life. I
am still a teenager so I have plenty of time to experience the great
surroundings and scenes around the world. I can't wait for that day where I
can escape and take a good month off my life to enjoy some amazing
destinations – like my recent 10 day trip to Central Australia in the
picture on the left.
